see, that creeps me out even more because of the prevalence in fashion of fetishizing women who look dead or close to death (skinny, pale, bruised). i wish they could use models who actually looked healthy and alive.

There were also males involved, and to be quite honest, I didn't see how it was "fashionable." A lot of photographers use fashion magazines as a way to show off their art.
